Post Production

After filming the footage I edited on many platforms: Adobe Audition, Adobe Premier Pro and Adobe After Effects. I mainly edited on Adobe Premier Pro but I edited on Adobe Audition for the Foley audio and Adobe After Effects to create the text for the credits. Due to me already using these softwares in college and home this was easy for me to edit and find the right scenes that flowed well.

When editing on Adobe Premier Pro I faded out some scenes to make the next shot flow more and also so the whole scene did not go fast but was at a calming pace. To make the shot of the reporter coming to be more significant I added music which I acquired from Ben Sound and I chose a clown-like, deranged, insane type of atmosphere to show the instability of this particular scene.

My experience of editing on more than one platform was good as I used the strength of each editing platform and made it work together. As for sound I edited on Adobe Audition, for the credits I used Adobe After Effects as I like their different fonts and to edit everything I used Adobe Premier Pro.

For the Foley audio my group and I recorded the Foley sounds and ARD in college on 22.3.22. First we set up the microphone and set the Mac to successfully record the ADR; it worked. Then we recorded Foley sounds and this was quite hard to achieve due to us trying to find the right object to match the sound. So from the pictures below we went to different locations to find the right thump sound and the right footsteps. After many tries we found the right sound.  I recorded some of the footsteps with this mic and I also took pictures to show how we made the Foley audio.
